The Designed with Kids in Mind website uses cookies or similar means to passively collect information that web browsers and servers typically make available.  These include, but are not limited to, browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request.

We also collect information you voluntarily provide to us through contact forms, email registration forms, and action pages. This information includes, but is not limited to, first and last name, location, street address, and email address.

We use cookies or other tracking technologies to store visitors’ website access preferences. We use information about how visitors come to our website and what pages they visit while there, to better understand how visitors and members use the website and to improve the functionality and usefulness of the website.

We use personally-identifying information provided by you in completing website forms to send you emails informing you about Designed with Kids in Mind’s campaigns, events, news, and other activities. We also use personal information you provide to process donations, carry out campaigns, and to contact persons interested in participating in our work.

We do not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below.

Designed with Kids in Mind shares the personally-identifiable information it collects with Salsa Labs, a third-party vendor, for the purpose of maintaining our database of supporters. Designed with Kids in Mind has not authorized Salsa Labs to share your information with third parties for joint marketing or list enhancement. You can read Salsa’s privacy policy here.

We may disclose your name and mailing address (but no other personally-identifiable information) to a third party for the sole purpose of printing mailings to send to our members. We direct the third party to retain this information no longer than necessary to complete the mailing.

If you sign a petition or take an action with us, we may provide your name and state to our petition target as part of the petition delivery.

We may publish statistics about the use of our website in our marketing, grant reporting, or other materials. (For example: “10,000 people have visited our campaign site.”) We only, however, do so in the aggregate and will not publicly display or otherwise share any personally identifiable information.

Visitors who do not wish to have cookies placed on their computers should set their browsers to refuse cookies before using our website; however, certain features of the website may not function properly without the aid of cookies.

Designed with Kids in Mind may change its Privacy Policy from time to time, although changes are likely to be minor.
